Due to worsening pandemic conditions, the Office of Research is alerting researchers that research activity will need to return to Research Stage 2 (RS2) on Friday, January 15. The Crisis Management Advisory Committee and the Office of Research are closely monitoring trends at the local and regional level. Updated Guidelines for Research Stage 2 can be found here. This advisory notice provides an update to the research community about the transition back to RS2 and a general overview of what RS2 entails. Principal investigators must notify team members of these changes. In RS2, research activity will continue; but with an emphasis on reducing the overall campus population and contingency planning should there be a need to transition back to Research Stages 1 or 0.
